Dan Zehr had a 10 H.P. Nichols and Shepard steam engine that belonged to a man by the name of Fred Buess from California. Dan was also in the process of buying Vernon Reed’s 20 H.P. Advance steam engine, and Vernon was to bring it to the show and operate it, if a show could be put together. Dan then contacted Sylvester Fosdick who owned a 19 H.P. Long Fellow Port Huron, F.W. Bloom from Cherubusco, IN who had a model steam road roller, Milford Rees from Franklin, IL, Harry Hinson from Grafton, IL, Emil Beesler from Pekin, IL, with a 6 H.P. Portable Case, and Ray Ernest from Mt. Pleasant, IA.
